Who We Are and What We Do
Founded by Joanie Schaefer in 2006, the MarySue Foundation helps seniors reconnect with family members by covering travel costs for them or their family to visit them. Unfortunately, Joanie Schaefer passed from ovarian cancer in 2020, and I, her granddaughter, Rylee Carlson, have restarted her foundation to continue my grandma’s mission to help and serve the elderly community.
